The Mandala: A Pathway to One's Center

Mandala is the Sanskrit word for circle. Today, the word mandala is used for sacred artworks in the form of a circle. Create your own mandalas and tap into the holiness of deep listening within you and in the world around you. Creating a mandala will help you gain access to the “soul-light,” the divine Spirit within. You will add luminous color effects to your mandala and learn to pray with it. This is a great opportunity for those interested in learning this form of prayer or are experienced and want to renew their art and connect with others. Supplies will be provided, but you may want to bring your own compass, ruler or black/gel/Micron pens. No experience is necessary. Presenter: Sr. Joellen Price, PBVM. Fri.
