Directed Retreat

Reflect on the experience of God in your life through prayer, solitude and quiet during this silent retreat. Meet daily with a certified director: Sr. Teresa Ann Harrington, OSB, MA in Theology; or Fr. Philip Davey, OSB, MA in Theology and Counseling.

Directed Retreats: Prayer, reflection, solitude and silence make these retreats sacred. Meeting with a certified spiritual director tailors the retreat to your needs. $80 (incl. spiritual direction session, one overnight, meals)


Private Retreats: As above, without spiritual direction.
$55 (incl. one overnight and meals); $40 (incl. one overnight and continental breakfast)

Centering Prayer: Practice the ancient prayer that leads to contemplation. Wednesdays 1-2 pm

Meeting Space: Space is available in small conference
room for up to 15 people to lead their own retreats or have a staff member lead them. When large conference room becomes available later this spring, we can accommodate up to 42 people.


Outreach: Trained, experienced personnel will come to your location to conduct workshops and lead retreats.


Hermitage: A hermitage space within Benet House with bedroom, kitchen and sitting room is available for private, contemplative time away with God. Minimum 3-night stay at $50/night. Meals are self-provided unless otherwise requested.

Benedictine life and are considering a religious vocation.

Sr. Bobbi Bussan, Vocation Director for St. Mary Monastery, directs the weekend
experience. There is time for prayer and quiet as well as interaction with the
Benedictine Sisters.
