During a simple but beautiful ceremony at Vespers on Friday, June 12, Jackie Walsh was received as a novice by the community of the Benedictine Sisters of St. Mary Monastery.

Jackie now begins her canonical year, during which she will not work outside the monastery but will study Benedictinism, theology and community history and traditions.
